i love a good ole' list so i wanted to write down some things we want to do this summer, hopefully we can accomplish everything on this list or at least most of it. take Brody and Evie to the splash pad spend lots of time in the backyard swimming in the kiddie pool, playing in the sandbox, and eating popsicles make curtains for kitchen and sunroom/ playroom door, love a fabric like this read Sparkly Green Earrings , heard so many good things about it learn to use and take more pictures with my camera sew some clothes for Brody and Evie start taking evening walks as a family learn to can and freeze veggies from our garden make homemade cookies with Brody start potty training Brody join a church take Brody to VBS renew our zoo pass have a yard sale change out and hang new pictures in frames around the house start blogging more make and stick to a cleaning schedule and budget

  Evie Claire was given a wonderful baby shower in March at Union Church. D'Lisa, Tammie, and Aunt Jane did a wonderful job. All the pink and green was so pretty. Evie Claire is so loved!!             Love the polka dot pink and green cake Yummy Food Table I love this wreath, it now hangs on Evie's bedroom door.     Brody and his buddy Mollie gave us a musical performance. Gift Table, love the diaper motor cycle so cute and unique, Amanda did a great job!    

Hello blog world! Long time no posts but this is really not unusal for me. We had a really good weekend, it started off rough but ended well. Chris came home Friday ( at normal time yay!! ) He did not have to work Saturday, which is awesome because 6, 10 hour days makes a nice paycheck but hard on family life, but was not feeling good. He toughed it out and went to Walmart with me, but by the time we got home he was headed down hill fast. Saturday morning came around and he was feeling worse. He had a tooth pulled on Thrusday but that wasn't bothering him. He was aching, thoart hurting and just felt miserable. So after much debate he went to urgent care. He ended up being the only patient there and was dinosged with a  bad sinus infection and Dr. Floyd he was basically exhasuted and needed some rest. He got a Zpak, cortizone shot, and cough syrup and that fixed him right up. Brody and I played all day Saturday and Chris was able to get some good rest. By Sunda...

1. My wonderful husband, he is truly my best friend. 2. My sweet Brody, he is such rough, tough boy, but with such a big heart. 3. My sweet Evie Claire, she is a sweet surprise, but so wanted and loved, we can not wait to meet her! 4. Our house that we searched so long for, that we now call home. 5. My awesome caring friends, who are always there to lend a hand. 6. My parents who are always willing to take care of Brody when he is sick and I can't be off work. 7. Chris' job that has provided for us and our future. 8. My awesome in laws, always there when we need them. 9. Modern medicine, that when my baby is sick that I have way to get him the meds he needs to get better. 10. Seeing the love that Brody has for his Daddy, and that he wants to be just like him. I know then he will be a great man! 11. My camera, that i hope to learn to use better. I love the memories it captures. 12. My husbands flirting. 13. This is just a little post about Brody's favorite new word. It is stuck. Everything is stuck. If he wants to get down he is stuck, if he wants to take his shirt off he is stuck, if you are in the spot he wants to be you are stuck and he wants to move you! It is so funny this little phase of stuckness he is going though. I just want to remeber these funny memories for many many years!! Sorry no pics with this post, but i will be posting birthday party pics, pumpkin patch, halloween decorations, and more very soon!!

I can't believe that my baby is almost 2! Time has flown, i know everybody says that but it seems like he was just learning to roll over and now he is full blown running. - You weigh 27 pounds, and I'm not sure on your height, but everyone says you are tall and everyone thinks you are about 2 1/2 or 3. -Wearing 2t shirts and 18 month shorts. Still long and lean! - You had your first " real " hair cut this month and you acted like an angel! I kept putting off getting it cut because i liked it long. You kept being mistaken for a girl so i finally did. I'm glad we did it is adorable! -You are still a picky eater but you love to eat what you like which includes, corn, cheese, bratwurst, pizza, apples, pineapple, carrots, grapes, chicken, pork chops, sometimes mac and cheese, french fries, ramen noodles, oatmeal squares. - You have several words that you are very good at saying like, dada, daddy, mama, my mama, maw maw, paw paw, nana, kk ( Chris' sister ...
